Steve Wiman is an assemblage artist and owner of Uncommon Objects, an unusual antique store on South Congress in Austin, Texas. Steve is a graduate of the University of North Texas, attended graduate art school at the University of Texas and studied under noted installation artist Vernon Fisher. While at graduate school at the University of Texas he enrolled in the painting program, and it was the study of color and composition through painting that gave him his aesthetic foundation.
